The members of the New Jersey Women Lawyers Association (NJWLA) extend their sincere condolences and sympathies to the family, friends and colleagues of Heather G. Suarez on her passing on October 29, 2021.
Heather is known by her colleagues for being a dedicated attorney, leader, volunteer, mentor and friend. She was a robust supporter of NJWLA both as its Past General Counsel and as its Past Liaison to the New Jersey Supreme Court Committee on Women in the Courts. Heather also supported NJWLA by attending our annual Galas as well as other association events. NJWLA is but one of numerous organizations to which Heather devoted her energy, creativity and generous spirit, and her legacy will live on in the work that she did for those organizations, including WomenRising, the New Jersey State Bar Association, the Commercial Real Estate Women of New Jersey, the YWCA of Union County, and the Executive Women of New Jersey.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. James the Apostle Church, 45 S. Springfield Ave. in Springfield on Thursday, November 4th at 10am.
Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Westfield.
