We are looking for someone to work on the private disability side of the practice, which entails fighting for disabled client’s benefits with major insurance carriers.

Our work includes litigation in Federal Court in actions against insurance carriers under the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (E.R.I.S.A.), administrative appeals of benefit denials, and helping clients to apply for and protect their benefits. 

Candidiate will be expected to perform work in each of the areas listed above. 

Extensive legal writing experience and excellent writing skills required. 

Federal litigation experience preferred but not required. 

Experience with ERISA, particularly Long Term Disability and Short Term Disabiilty benefits preferred but not required. 

Candidate must have a strong work ethic, be willing and able to learn quickly, and be comfortable engaging with clients and going to Court.  

Salary commensurate with experience.
