Frier Levitt, LLC, a growing national boutique Healthcare and Life Sciences Law Firm with offices in Morris County, NJ and New York City seeks an experienced full-time Attorney to work in our Litigation department in our Pine Brook, NJ office.
The Associate Attorney will be responsible for:
- Handling a diverse docket of litigation matters (state and federal) dealing mostly with
- Healthcare, Commercial and Personal Injury Litigation.
- Conducting legal research and preparing detailed memorandum
- Assisting in the preparation of discovery responses and discovery demands
- Assisting in the representation of clients in depositions, before state licensing Boards, and
- Hospital hearings
- Coordinating with clients and experts
- Preparing for and conducting/ defending depositions
- Making appearances to argue motions, attend conferences, participate in mediation.
Requirements:
- Juris Doctorate (JD) degree, with great academic credentials;
- Licensed to practice law in New Jersey State and Federal Courts in good standing
- Licensing in other states a plus but not required.
- 3+ years of experience in practicing law and experience with Law Firm culture
- Familiarity with healthcare laws and regulations
- Superior research and writing skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
